Project Overview Farm Well Hub embarked on an ambitious journey with Outsource Digital Marketing (OSDM) to create a comprehensive branding and digital engagement strategy. This project was conducted in collaboration with key stakeholders including the Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine, Amella Coaching and Consultancy, and ACA. The goal was to enhance agricultural mental health awareness—an increasingly vital issue affecting rural communities. The scope of the project was extensive, necessitating a full branding package that included naming, logotype, taglines, typography, color palettes, logos, visual identity, and extensive content creation, all within a remarkably ambitious timeline.

Execution and Deliverables

  • Branding Pack: In just three weeks, OSDM developed a complete brand identity that perfectly resonated with Farm Well Hub’s mission. This rapid deployment involved creating a distinctive logo, a cohesive color palette, and engaging taglines that effectively communicated the brand’s commitment to improving farmer well-being.

Digital Marketing Strategy

Social Media Management: Leveraged platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Google My Business to maximise visibility and enhance community interaction, each tailored to target specific demographics within the agricultural sector.

Content Creation: Produced a series of high-quality, engaging content that was both informative and supportive, reflecting the core objectives of Farm Well Hub.

Community Management: Developed strategies to actively engage with the community, promoting participation and feedback to foster a supportive network.

SEO & Paid Media: Implemented SEO optimisations and managed Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns to significantly drive targeted traffic and increase awareness.

GoToWebinar: Effectively designed and managed an integrated webinar platform, handling the backend systems for live webinars that unfolded over four weeks.

Website Development

The entire campaign, from initial concept to full-scale execution, was completed in just 1 month and 10 days, with ongoing campaigns running for under two months. This swift and effective deployment led to remarkable metrics and growth across various digital platforms:

  • Website Development Concurrent with branding efforts, a fully functional, user-friendly website was launched at https://farmwellhub.ie. This platform became a central hub for resources, information, and engagement, designed to be intuitive and informative for its users.

  • Instagram: Gained 73 followers, reached 36,362 people, and made 39,650 impressions.
  • Facebook: Added 201 followers, reached 193,643 people, and achieved 207,074 impressions.
  • LinkedIn: Increased by 167 followers and made 4,256 impressions.
  • YouTube: Attained 33,000 views and added 8 new subscribers.

• Advertising Success:

  • Google Ads: Garnered 86,656 impressions, achieved a 0.5% CTR, and received 436 clicks.
  • Meta Ads: Amassed 237,126 impressions, secured 3,365 clicks, and a 0.27% CTR.

• Webinar Engagement

  • Sessions Held: 5
  • Total Registrants: 325
  • Total Attendees: 97
  • Attendance Rate: 31%

• Extended Outreach

  • Agriland: Reached over 300,000 monthly, with engagement rates of 3.5%.
  • Farmers Journal: Achieved a weekly readership of 263,000 in print, with digital impressions ranging from 70,000 to 1,000,000 per article and a 4% engagement rate on high-relevance articles.

This comprehensive approach not only fulfilled the initial project goals but also established Farm Well Hub as a pivotal leader in promoting agricultural mental health. Through strategic digital marketing, compelling content creation, and effective community management, OSDM helped Farm Well Hub resonate deeply with an extensive audience, driving awareness and action within the agricultural community.
